TOLYA’S FUNDRAISER IS COMPLETE!
Tolya’s long-awaited medicine has been added to the list of regularly covered children’s medicines. This means that a very expensive medicine is now available at a price his family can afford.

Tolya’s parents shared this wonderful news and asked us to pass the money raised for him to another child in need.

We raised 8,700 shekels for Tolya, and the full amount has been transferred towards Miroslava’s treatment.

AN ISRAELI CHILD NEEDS HELP! VITAL TREATMENT!

We first heard Tolya Kogon’s story several years ago. His parents’ plea for help moved us deeply.

He needs a year’s supply of a vital medicine.

Tolya was born with a rare genetic condition, achondroplasia. The vital medicine had not been approved by Israel’s Ministry of Health. Throughout this time, we and his doctor at Rambam Hospital approached many organisations, trying to get approval or funding, without success. A month ago, Tolya’s mother called with good news: his doctor had finally succeeded, and the Ministry of Health had added the medicine to the health funds’ basket of medicines.
We were delighted for the family. But their monthly co-payment is 6,400 shekels. Although both parents work, they cannot afford such a large monthly expense. After checking the details, we decided to raise funds to help Tolya get this vital medicine.

Until now, all our fundraisers have supported children who come from abroad for treatment. Guided by our motto #NoChildIsAStranger, we have helped children each time. Today, Tolya needs us: a little Israeli boy living in Kiryat Yam.
