Dear friends,
We are delighted to tell you that Sasha’s fundraiser has been successfully completed! Thanks to your generosity and support, we transferred 76,000 shekels to the hospital. This is a tremendous help in supporting Sasha through his illness.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part. Your kindness and support have given us strength and confidence that we can get through this.
Sasha is now being prepared for surgery. Your good wishes and prayers bring comfort and support at this difficult time. With your love and the medical team’s expertise, we hope the operation will be successful!

Sasha is the eldest child in his family. He has a younger brother, Misha, aged 6, and a sister, Masha, aged 3. Sasha is a natural leader, full of energy, who can turn any moment into a game and give every other child a role.
The illness first appeared at the beginning of 2021, when Sasha was 5.5 years old. He lost his appetite, became tired and developed a cough and shortness of breath. Blood tests and a puncture led to a frightening diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. He was taken by intensive-care ambulance from Saratov to the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital in Moscow. His condition was critical. He spent 10 long months in hospital. Treatment was difficult, with allergic reactions, seizures and changes in medicines and treatment methods. After discharge, treatment continued at home for another 18 months. It ended in May 2023. Our family slowly began to put the illness behind us, and Sasha prepared for school: on September 1, he was going to start first grade!
Sasha Knutov’s fundraiser starts with 60,000 shekels, made possible by support and funds raised in the earlier campaign for Sasha Shevchuk.
