Room of Wonders

A bone marrow transplant is one of the most difficult stages of treatment. Children spend long weeks, sometimes months, in isolation rooms, hardly leaving them. Those walls become their whole world.

“Room of Wonders” began with a wish to change that world. We decorate hospital rooms so they feel less like cold medical spaces and more like places where childhood can still belong. Favourite characters, bright colours, homely touches and a caring atmosphere help children feel calmer and more secure.

The project is coordinated by Hanna Lan and runs at Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem, with full sponsorship support.

We believe that even small changes to a child’s surroundings can help them find strength, bring a smile and make each day of treatment a little brighter.
