FOOD THURSDAY
One of the foundation’s largest projects is called “Food Thursday”. Every two weeks, volunteers collect 60 food packages and deliver them to the people we support.
The project is coordinated by @nadiashohat. Nadya picks up the food packages in Haifa. Haifa coordinator Yulia Rechter and volunteer Yulia Zaripova also come there to collect packages for the north. Then Nadya sets off on her route.
Her route takes her through Petah Tikva, where Igor is waiting to collect food for people in his city.
The next stop is Bat Yam, where two volunteers, Vova and Alena, take over. Alena delivers food packages to Bat Yam residents, while Vova takes them to Sheba Hospital and to people living in Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion. Volunteer Veronika is also always ready to help.
Nadya then heads to Jerusalem, the final stop.
The day always starts early and ends late. The volunteers of “A Land of Wonderful Dreams” travel across the country, spreading kindness.
